According to the National Association of Realtors, “the use of the internet to search for a home has risen dramatically over time, increasing from only 2% of buyers in 1995 to 77% in 2005.”

Real estate industry leaders are spending more on internet marketing campaigns, and, according to a Borrell Associates report, “online real estate spending is expected to grow from $2 billion this year to $3 billion by 2010, rising from a 17.7 percent share of all real estate ad spending to 32.1 percent. “
